Welcome to BJJ Tanuki's gear review channel. I buy a lot of jiu jitsu gear and when I feel like a particular product has not been reviewed enough on the web or deserves to be highlighted I pick up my trusty iPhone and shoot a video. I have a related channel called TanukiBJJ that has a few more reviews from when I was just starting out. I am the first to admit that the quality of my videos is not always the greatest but I hope to give you jitsplayers out there some info to assist you in your next purchase. By way of background I am what they consider a "Senior II Ultra Heavy" jiu jitsu player meaning I'm in my 40s and 220+ lbs. I am a professional with a wrestling, Judo and MMA background that sometimes helps (but often limits) my jiu jitsu game. I enjoy bjj and am always looking towards getting better.
