Black Sea Dahu are Janine Cathrein and a tight-knit gang of musical talents. They trip out on sound: in the studio or on stages scattered about the world. Their debut album White Creatures received critical acclaim and brought about comparisons to Ben Howard and Big Thief. On the heels of their debut release, the gang has been selling out venues and touring relentlessly. To date, they've shared bills with the likes of José González, Lucy Rose, Ben Howard and Sophie Hunger. They’ve also been invited to play at festivals such as the Reeperbahn (2018), The Great Escape (2019), m4music (2019) MaMA (2019) and Eurosonic (2020). Recently, they've reissued the Kingdom North (Rerelease) EP, a collection of songs recorded when they were still called JOSH.
The newly released singles 'Glue', 'Glue - Live at Royal', 'Transience' 'Transience - Live in Lille' and ‘Affection’ announced their new album 'I Am My Mother', released Feb 25th 2022.
