🔥Happy Friday Folks🔥

We’ve all been there

READ this if you ever fixated on the scale

😆😂

As human being we have had some form of body dysphoria and it all goes back to the SCALE

👀

Deep down we all want validation, approval and acceptance especially when it comes to certain beauty standards

More so for women than for men. Years back it used to be who’s the slimmest and now it’s who’s the thickest

All of this goes back to constantly looking at the scale thinking it will have more to do with how we look than we actually think

😞

200 lbs of muscle is different than 200lbs of fat even if it weighs the same

In addition if you have a solid plan and nutrition and your weight remains the same for the next year or two

It doesn’t mean you didn’t make progress. In fact there’s many examples of the scale remaining the same and differences still being seen later on

So what does that say?

Are you too caught up in nothing but a number or do you think being at a certain number means something tangible ?

Fruit for thought .......

Let’s go , here’s a couple of signs you’re too fixed on your scale

◽️Worrying too much about weigh ins

◽️You weigh yourself multiple times a day

◽️Your weight effects your emotional state

◽️You relate weight to progress

There’s more signs but these are common ones

All you can do from here is to be less ignorant about what progress is

It’s not your fault

I teach my students to focus on other things other than the scale because there’s a million signs of progress if you look for it

Losing your confidence because of this ….

I had a check in call with one of my students about building habits

The issue wasn’t that they didn’t know what to do but what bad habits they were building instead

… The emphasis on “perfection” is what cause people to fall back into bad habits instead of having small wins 🏆

In fact I would argue that is the main problem with 97% of people. Building good habits by having small wins instead of focusing on “perfection”

The goal is to find the things you’re doing which are bad habits and replace them with better habits . Set small goals that are at attainable and work on it
