My name is Mike, a Chinese-Australian father married to a Japanese wife and raising two kids (2 and 4) while living and working in Japan. Traveling to a foreign place can be fun and exciting but also confusing and scary. This channel is to provide helpful information to foreign people wanting to travel to Japan, work in Japan, migrate and live in Japan or simply learn about Japanese culture.

Born and lived in Shanghai, China for about 8 years.
Migrated and lived in Melbourne, Australia for over 20 years.
Moved and currently living in Japan for the last 10 years.
Joined the JET programme as an ALT from 2012-2015.
Fluent in English, Japanese and Chinese Mandarin
Hobbies include tennis, skiing, watching anime, reading and spending time with family.
