After life as a wandering expat, I experienced a brain injury in Kazakhstan 4 years ago and basically woke up a recluse in Mississippi with no 'identity'.
I started using music (and Youtube in general) to aid my recovery. Results include extremely disorganised oversharing via intensely wordy comments on songs/videos, because i have seemingly boundless questions and also no filters. (This was maybe always an issue.)
I began recording myself randomly--in the physical process of remembering, or just 'doing things' like singing an album, I guess maybe to prove to myself later that it was happening. I couldn't #remember how to do things, but I could apparently play the piano, and I wrote music or spoke languages or had been an avid photographer abroad. And so i sift the detritus.
The songs are both originals and 'sight-read un-#covers', all photos are mine, and ask me about my larger neurology/#TBI project. Jump in, adventure with me, and sing along if you know the words--i loves company!
