Within the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York (AAA) is a group of dedicated photographers who create images of the celestial sphere and our planet. We produce wide views of the night sky and the landscapes of Earth, both in wilderness and urban settings. Some of us specialize in photographing distant objects through telescopes. Members use equipment ranging from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tracking mounts, telescopes of various designs and sizes, astronomy CCD and CMOS cameras, and a list too long to continue here. All are active in showing the universe around us to a growing audience.
