In April 2023, I rescued a dying newborn black kitten and named her Luna, inspired by the black cat from Sailor Moon. Luna was in terrible condition—her leg was broken, her wounds infested with maggots, and she was severely malnourished. It seemed her mother sensed she couldn't survive and led me to her. Now, as Luna approaches her first birthday, she has blossomed into a healthy and beautiful cat.
