The Colonial Heritage Model Railroad Club was formed in early 2017. Membership consists of residents and homeowners in Colonial Heritage an over 55 community in James City County, Virginia. One of the benefits of belonging to a club of hobbyists is that each member will embrace only the facets of the hobby that he or she is comfortable with, and then rely on other members for assistance in those other areas that are beyond his or her comfort zone. The members of our Model Railroad Club expect that our module layout will prove that theory to be true, and we want to share our hobby with all that will listen, or watch, as our trains travel through our layout. As ambassadors of the hobby, each of us would really enjoy discussing any, or all, aspects of the hobby with any of the born-again kids that like trains.
