This $35-million-dollar operation in Henderson County,KY is the newest underground site in the Alliance Coal family.
Construction of the mine is currently underway and is scheduled to be completed by Jan. 2025. When complete, we expect this site will be staffed with approximately 260 high-paying jobs with benefits. Immediate job opportunities exist & new employees can start training at the River View Mine in Waverly,KY, until the Henderson County Mine is ready. River View Coal,LLC, a subsidiary of Alliance Coal, LLC, operates the River View Mine and will serve as the operator of the new Henderson County Mine. River View Coal,LLC began producing coal in 2009 & its River View Mine is the largest underground room-&-pillar mine in North America. Coal from the Henderson County Mine will be transported through underground conveyors from the Corydon shaft site & come to the surface at a slope in Waverly, KY, processed and eventually conveyed to a terminal on the Ohio River near Uniontown,KY.
