The Hands Up Project was developed by Nick Bilbrough to tell stories and do other English language learning activities for children in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan and Pakistan. The sessions are taught remotely through Zoom video conferencing tools. They are done in cooperation with the Tamer Institute for Community Education in Gaza and Relief International in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. The children are between the ages of 8 and 14 and are from UNRWA and Ministry schools.
