Colorful Chemistry is a channel dedicated to the beauty of colors in Chemistry (especially Inorganic Chemistry). In the upcoming videos we will show a lot about Complex Chemistry, explain how colors form, why they vary and change in reactions. We will look for new ways to show a reaction happening. This means that we won't try to isolate the products nor are the methods good to make the pure compounds but rather a way to show how something happens. As we try to uncover the chemistry behind these experiments we won't perform each reaction with every counterion we can find but only show some examples and leave the rest to you to try. Also, many experiments here are taken from analytical literature. Therefore these experiments can be used to detect many ions in solution.
