We found it challenging to know what a campsite looked like by just a single picture maybe provided by the campground/maybe not on the reservation site. We want to know: Is it on a slope? How much space is there between neighbors? How close is it to the shower house/restrooms? We also like to camp with friends and we once booked a site that we thought was next to theirs and it ended up being up a hill and around a slight curve. The park mapped showed them side-by-side. Google Maps had trees blocking the view of the sites. To hopefully help others who like to know what they are getting themselves into, we hope to keep posting more campgrounds as we visit them so that we can find our favorites and maybe you can too!
