A behind-the-scenes photo from my "Becoming the Evil Scooby-Doo Clone" video; this was basically another experiment with Final Cut Pro's new "Magnetic Mask" feature, an A.I. feature I can actually appreciate! DaVinci Resolve and Cyberlink PowerDirector and Magix Vegas Pro have virtually the same feature (just named differently on each).

For #ThrowbackThursday, back when my college's video editing lab used Windows PCs, we used Pinnacle/Avid Liquid Edition, which was pretty elaborate. Now under Corel/Alludo, Pinnacle's Studio Ultimate is pretty much the new Liquid Edition, with the same professional editing features and more at a noticeably lower cost. I don't use it much since I switched to a Mac, but it's good to have handy for my Windows usage, since it still has familiar traits from Liquid Edition and the pre-Corel/Alludo versions of Pinnacle Studio Plus/Ultimate (which is what I made many of my early YouTube Poops on!)

Cyberlink's PowerDirector video editing software sure has come a long way. Look at this 20-year gap! It feels more prosumer-oriented now, as is the case with several other video editing applications targeted towards consumers. (It was also originally Windows-only, but soon Android and iOS and even MacOS versions came out; the last of which is what's shown in the last pic, and I also sometimes use for certain video projects alongside iMovie, Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro,)

Ralph: "I tell ya, Harry, that Trump will make America great again!"
Harry: (rolls eyes as the laugh track is heard)

Yep, I bought "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" on Blu-ray! A Hanna-Barbera series for adults!

Once again, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. But I hope we don't get TWELVE more weeks of winter like we did ten years ago!

I didn't find out until very recently, but nearly three months ago, George A. Robertson Jr. (a.k.a. Austin Roberts) passed away at age 79. While he had a few hit singles in the 1970s, in the cartoon world he was known for singing the theme song chase songs in Season 2 of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" He also collaborated with partner Danny Jansen on some songs for Josie and the Pussycats. #FursuitFriday
