Hi there! I'm Dianne, and I've worked in the food industry in New York City since 2008. These days I work full-time as a private chef and cooking teacher and especially enjoy inspiring regular people (that's you!) to cook in their homes, and to make it easier and more fun with the tricks and techniques I've learned from working in the industry.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I've become furloughed from my regular work, but I'm still teaching here on YouTube! A lot more of us are cooking at home more than we ever did, and I hope I can help make that process as easy and fun for you as possible with these videos.
I'm not going for perfect production value here- I have one ring light, a laptop and a microphone, and everything is filmed in my little home kitchen in Brooklyn. What I'm hoping to do is to demonstrate some real cooking techniques in a real kitchen, with real, in-person advice.
