Bharatanatyam Dancer | Dance Teacher | Film & Theatre Enthusiast
Manasi is an Indian classical (Bharatnatyam) dancer based in Pune. Manasi has been learning dance for the past 16-17 years under the able guidance of Guru Dr Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar. Apart from being a passionate dance teacher, she is keen to explore Indian classical dance in the contemporary context through the lens of camera and has creative and theatrical essence in her choreography.
She has completed a masters' degrees in the fields of Performing Arts (Bharatanatyam), Indology and Economics.
"Being a theatre, film enthusiast and having acquired education in several fields has prompted me to look at my art form differently." , says Manasi.
