Canadian, London based artist, producer and songwriter Laura Roy blends her love for classic 70’s folk and 90’s r&b vocals to create a unique soulful sound. Several EP releases later, Laura showcases her multifaceted vocal range and eclectic songwriting and production styles. Settling into modern r&b/soul driven material, Laura’s 2019 EP titled “Forte” won “Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” at the 2020 East Coast Music Awards in Canada. Laura recently worked with Grammy Nominated artist Lianne La Havas, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Geo Jordan to create a 6-track EP titled “Tides” which is an ode to Laura’s upbringing in rural Nova Scotia, Canada.
