Wind Turbine Syndrome is a new phenomena that is not well understood. It occurs in humans where industrial megawatt wind turbines are installed and operational near homes and businesses. Within a short time some people living within 1 km of operational MW wind turbine say they experience some or all of the following symptoms: dizziness, tinnitus, inability to think straight, inability to do spatial relations tasks, migraine headaches, sleeplessness, anxiety. The flicker effect is intense unnerving by viewing shadow of turbine spinning on ground or casting shadows in homes when the sun is in a certain direction. Not everyone gets wind turbine syndrome, but for the sufferers many are driven to great lengths to sleep in basements and eventually to abandon their property or sell at a reduced price in order to get out of the area. Sufferers feel relief from WTS when they are no longer in proximity to the operational turbines. This anecdotal experience is worldwide where turbines operate.
