Hello! My name is Stacey Johnson. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer Feb 7, 2024 and this is my way of documenting and sharing my journey through this part of my life in hopes of connecting with others who may be going through the same thing, or some of the same things I've been through in my life, which I'm sure I will also talk about here. I'm a 45 year old single mom of two teens, a disabled Air Force veteran -served 10 1/2 years-and now a LV 1 CrossFit trainer. I began a ketogenic diet in 2018 and lost almost 80 lbs. I eventually quit smoking and drinking and completely changed my health and my life....or so I thought. Truth is I caved to too many cheat days and “keto” sweets so I was already thinking about switching to carnivore and so when I was diagnosed, I switched that day. To be diagnosed now, with cancer, is hard to hear but I know I will beat it. Welcome .
