I was raised in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle, in a household influenced by the deep south of Mississippi.
Growing up, I embraced diverse food ideas, incorporating them into my own creations. The aroma of southern food, the clattering pots and pans, and the backdrop of football on Saturday mornings left a lasting impression. With an NFL player father and a teacher mother, I learned the value of perseverance and pursued my passion for cooking.
At 26, I relocated to Atlanta, GA, where I resided for 16 years, further developing my culinary passion. As a self-taught chef, I studied the techniques, styles, and execution of renowned chefs, perfecting my craft.
Now residing in the DMV area, I have honed my culinary skills and embraced creative styling through social media, showcasing my unique ideas and perspective on traditional food favorites.
