Back before the days of YouTube, a group of friends started The Long Island Chevelles Car Club. An associate club of ACES (The National Chevelle Club) we were exploring ways of getting the word out to increase our membership. We started doing a local Public Access TV show called Long Island Chevelles TV. Within 6 months we had over 250 members and the club was going strong. We then began to upload our shows on what was then Google-Video, a precursor to YouTube. We had about 50k views for each episode, and back in those 'olden days' that was huge!! Then along came YouTube, but we couldn't put our shows there because in those early days you couldn't upload long or large videos, so we put some short promo clips up. Well, quite frankly, life just got in the way and our 'show' took a break for over 10 years. During that decade YouTube exploded and what we were once doing is now very commonplace. Recently we decided to bring it back, a little lighter and a little better quality.
