My aim is to get people talking about disability and additional needs. Iβm hoping that by doing this we can reach people who are feeling isolated, lost and overwhelmed. In an age where Government is failing children and adults with additional needs; families like myself are struggling to navigate this broken system. Trying to find support can be challenging, as many services are stretched or being shut down completely. This adds to the stress we already have in trying to be parents to our children.
We will be talking about all things in our Special World, the good, the bad & the ugly. I will be interviewing other parents of children with additional needs as well as professionals who we might come across in our world, I will also be speaking to people in our community who are offering services that help.
