I am a fly fishing guide in the lower South Island of New Zealand, where I have the good fortune to reside within a stone's throw of some of the most revered rivers in the world.
Originally from upstate New York, I have pursued unconventional occupations in the past, having worked in the motion picture industry and as a sleight-of-hand artist. My experience in the film industry has instilled in me a passion for filmmaking, which I now have the pleasure of merging with my love of fly fishing. I delight in creating films of the anglers I guide as they attempt to lure the feisty fish of the MacKenzie basin, Fiordland, and the Southern Lakes.
