This channel is a showcase for Myron Cope, the late, legendary Pittsburgh broadcaster. With his unforgettable buzzsaw of a voice, Myron was a presence on Pittsburgh radio & TV for decades, giving his "Myron Cope on Sports" commentaries, conducting a highly popular talk show and offering his colorful analysis during Steeler games. Thousands of fans turned down the sound on their TV's during games so they could hear the radio broadcast from Cope and his play-by-play partners -- first Jack Fleming, then Bill Hillgrove.
Myron also created the flag of Steeler Nation, the Terrible Towel. Royalties from Towel sales still benefit the Allegheny Valley School for people with disabilities.
