Dep Art Gallery opened its doors on September 22nd, 2006, with a solo exhibition by Mario Nigro.
Founded in Milan by Antonio Addamiano, the gallery owns its name to the English word "depart", in this case acronym for Distribution and Art Promotion. Thus, it is a departure with a precise direction that the gallery pursues to this day, characterized by a broad and varied cultural program that seeks to offer collectors the opportunity to create or enrich a collection and, above all, to preserve it over time.
The most important exhibitions include those dedicated to: Carlos Cruz-Diez (2019), Imi Knoebel (2021), Tony Oursler (2019), Regine Schumann (2021, 2018), Wolfram Ullrich (2018), Alighiero Boetti (2018), Salvo (2017, 2010, 2007), Mario Nigro (2017, 2006), Henk Peeters and Jan Schoonhoven (2017), Alberto Biasi (2016, 2013 and 2008), Emilio Scanavino (2016, 2012, 2008), Turi Simeti (2015, 2013), Pino Pinelli (2019, 2015), Ludwig Wilding (2014, 2013) and Emilio Vedova (2010).
