This channel highlights the black stork, white stork and their nesting behavior during breeding season. The stork is loyal only to it's nest and not it's mate. When returning from the great migration back into their nests the stork will always return to the same nest year after year after year. But if one of the mates falls behind and is late returning to the nest, they are usually met with an intruder stork in there place as their mate has moved on to a new partner. This is where the battle begins. Crazy fights breakout between former resident and new intruding resident with a winner takes all prize. The female stork will usually lay a clutch of 5 eggs, once the chicks hatch the dark side of the stork emerges. In most cases 5 will not survive, mostly due to the parents torturing a chick or 2, maybe even a few. Some are eaten alive, some are stabbed over and over then thrown from the nest. In my decade plus of observing stork nesting behavior I have come to realize the Stork is evil
