Well, the Kids Afloat have grown into teens and so now our channel is cataloguing their adventures in a different way - but we’re still Afloat In A Wooden Boat!
Seamanship (or seawomanship) is really important, so we also try to make skills on the water fun. The young men are learning bouyage, woodworking skills, how to repair sails, navigation skills - you name it! Plus IT skills when they put everything into a video afterwards.
Our adventures in boats, hiking and camping have now extended beyond Tasmania too, to include other states - camping, sailing, wooden boats, camp cooking, hiking, kayaks, all sorts of outdoor activities!
Join our family of one Mum, two young men, two dogs, cats and many classic wooden boats as we get out into the world to see what fun can be had.
