DUTCH AGRICULTURE: QUALITY FOR GENERATIONS
OUR COMPANY’S LEGACY STEMS FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS.
In the early 1930s in Holland, Pieter Cruson, a hardworking newlywed, started his own traditional blacksmith workshop. He worked hard to provide his friends, neighbours and customers with quality products they could trust to help them get the job done right. Years later, Cruson was granted permission to immigrate to Canada, and in 1952 the Dutch Blacksmith Shop was established. From there Cruson made the pivotal decision to provide quality steel products to help local farmers improve their seeding operations. And Dutch Agriculture was formed.
