This is the official channel of the Centre for High-Performance Scientific Computing in Terrestrial Systems (HPSC TerrSys) of the Geoverbund ABC/J. (www.hpsc-terrsys.de/legalnotice)
HPSC TerrSys publishes prognostic monitoring simulations over Europe and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. For the first time, the simulations encompass different fluxes and states of the terrestrial hydrologic and energy cycle from aquifers across the land surface into the atmosphere.
The simulations are performed with the Terrestrial Systems Modeling Platform (TerrSysMP), which was published by Shrestha et al. (2014). Atmospheric boundary conditions are kindly provided by the ECMWF for the European and the DWD for the NRW simulations. The simulations are performed in the supercomputing environment of the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Germany.
