In February 2020, our landlord gave us four months to vacate our 4-bedroom home. Living in Gettysburg, Pa., we did not want to look for a place to rent. Instead, we bought a shuttle bus and drove to Texas.
After a few short trips in the bus, we decided we didn't like driving it, but we loved living in it. So, we made it our winter home in Texas and bought a Chevy Express 1500.
Today, we drive around the U.S. in our campervan and video small towns with rich histories. Allen services his freelance writing clients while authoring books and Theresa performs graphic arts services for our two businesses - Taylored Content, a freelance writing service, and Crux Publications, a Christian book publishing company. Friends and family think we're crazy, but can we make the nomad lifestyle work for us?
