Consumer News is a MOJO web tv. It's aimed to promote MOJO Journalism, Citizen Journalism and democracy with a consumer focus approach. It's team is led by Akhtar Shaheen Rind (Mr.), a resident of Karachi, hailing from district Rahim Yar Khan of Punjab Province in Pakistan. He is a broadcast journalist, vlogger, founder, editor and host at Consumer News. He has done his Masters in Mass Communication from the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology (FUUAST) Karachi.

He started his Journalism career as a Sub-Editor in January 1998 from Daily Intikhab Karachi. Later he worked for Daily Kainaat, Daily Ummat, Daily Khabrain, Daily Jehan Pakistan, News Network International (NNI), Pakistan Press International (PPI) in different capacities as City Editors, District Editors, Reporter etc.

He entered in broadcast media industry in 2005 by joining Geo News as Associate Reporter and later worked with BOL TV and Jaag TV as well.

He founded this Consumer News in February 2019.
