Born in Dhaka City.His first guru is Shri Gobindo Robi Das.Took Taleem under the supervision of Ustad Mazhar Ali Khan and Ustad Jawaad Ali Khan, the grandsons of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib of Kasur Patiala Gharna. Schooldays were in St. Gregory's High School.Studied at Notre Dame college. Bachelor in English literature From Kumaun University.Awarded Masters in English Dept. from University of Dhaka.Later studied western classical composition from Gotlands School of Composition.Finally studied composition At The Royal University of Music in Stockholm where he did his Bachelors and Masters. He was awarded a national award as a Best Music Director for directing music in feature film "Anil Bagchir Ekdin" in 2015.
