The Amerindian Peoples Association (APA) is a non-profit non-governmental Indigenous Peoples organization established in April 1991. We are an advocacy organization seeking to promote and defend the rights of the Indigenous Peoples of Guyana. We aim to promote the social, economic, political and cultural development of Indigenous communities in solidarity with each other. The APA collaborates is various organisations in Guyana as well as international groups like the Rainforest Foundation US and the Forest Peoples Programme. Our videos will give updates on our advocacy work for Indigenous Peoples Rights and inform the world on our projects.
