5 years later…
I now understand the response mechanisms that are triggered through trauma.
That mental, emotional and physical pain are all interlinked.
That expressing our vulnerabilities is a good thing.
That noticing and being aware of our fears is the best tool for transformation.
I’ve gone from fiercely protecting myself, freezing, fleeing and fending off any form of perceived threat to just saying…
“Come on life, give me everything you’ve got. I’m ready. I Love You”
